Webinar: The future of bench chemistry | 17.06

webinar 17.06
We would like to invite you to a webinar about the latest trends and achievements in the field of chemical sciences supported by artificial intelligence (AI).

Our special guest is Teodoro Laino Ph.D. manager of IBM Research Europe. The remarkable achievements of Mr. Laino's team, which will be the basis for his presentation, show, on the one hand, the enormous scientific and commercial potential of interdisciplinarity, and on the other, force reflection on the future of traditional laboratory chemistry (bench chemistry).

Date: 17th of  June 2021 at 1:00 pm

The meeting will be held on the MS Teams platform. To join the meeting registration is required. The link to the meeting will be sent to people registered on the day of the event.

The dynamic development of artificial intelligence, which allowed Laino's team to "read" all related scientific publications with its use and to discover new knowledge, proves that the possibilities of analyzing and synthesizing artificial intelligence already surpass the analogous abilities of individuals and even research teams.

During the webinar we will look for answers to the following questions:

1. What is the Accelerated Development methodology and why is it important - a case of developing a new photoresist material?

2. How common is this methodology? Is it practiced only by IBM, or is every big technology company already involved in the development of this methodology?

3. What is the future of laboratory chemistry in view of the rapid development of computational methods and the possibilities they offer?

4. Which areas of chemistry can benefit most from this digital revolution?

Before the meeting, we encourage to get acquainted with its topics, as well as the biography of our guest: they are available on the dedicated information page.
